In October, Sierra City experiences daytime highs of 65-70 degrees while the evenings fall around 45-50 degrees. Since our ceremony starts at 4:30pm and the entire wedding is outdoors, come prepared with layers! We will have some outdoor heaters, but we encourage you to bring blankets if you'd like.

You will experience a major, extended dead zone once you transition onto Highway 49 North into the steep terrain of the Yuba River canyon, lasting intermittently all the way through Sierra City. Please pre-download your map route via Google/Apple Maps or Waze, or plan to print out your directions before you start your drive. There will be wifi at the cabin property as well as the surrounding accommodations in the area.

Our fall wedding dress code is Elevated Forest. We recommend more practical shoes like: block heels, wedges or boots for the uneven terrain and pea-gravel. We welcome you to wear warm earth or jewel tones, and please bring versatile layers for the evening as it does get chilly.

We have intentionally chosen who we want to partake in our small forest celebration, Wedding is by invite only, no exceptions can be made. Thank you for understanding!

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this allows you to relax, unwind, and enjoy a special evening with us. Exceptions made only for close immediate family.

The venue is a private property cabin and will have plenty of parking available. There will be signs indicating where to park. Please also refer to the 'Directions' tab to see the map of the property.

Yes! We will have a bartending service. Please come cash-tip prepared to help spoil our bartenders.

Please arrive 30 minutes before the 4:30pm ceremony start time to settle into your seats.

We do not have a set end time, however we expect to be wrapping up the evening by 11:30pm, perhaps with smores around the firepit for our late night folks!
